Sensemaking artifacts « Connectivism

There have been recent articles about the confusion a new learner can have when participating in a cMOOC or other networked learning environment.  This article discusses the difficulty, and suggests that there needs to be some type of artifact (blog, wiki, or similar) that the learner constructs in order to make meaning of the conversations going on simultaneously.  They can connect similar concepts, and make relationships between silos that seem disparate.   Good article explaining on the Connectivism.ca site.
