I should point out that I do espouse Connectivism theory, but it’s important to understand its gaps. This article, via Hybrid Pedagogy (always fantastic) is written by a cMOOC participant who is on a journey, understanding various types of online learning. It is interesting that he found himself in a cMOOC (vs an xMOOC such as Coursera, Udacity, etc.) which is grounded in Connectivism. He is obviously giving it deep thought and reflection, so it’s worth reading his critique.
