An Interview With Harvard Professor Robert Steven Kaplan, Author of ‘What You’re Really Meant to Do’

“What you’re really meant to do is a lifelong journey.  There isn’t a final destination.  It’s a process of steps of trying to understand yourself, building competencies and adding value to others.  It requires self-examination, hard work and building relationships with others.  It takes character and leadership – and an ownership mindset.  Like staiying in shape, it is a constant process.  So, I am still working on it, and, I guess, I hope I will always be working on it.”
