My questions:
1. Where has everybody been for the past decade as Yale, MIT, etc. offered Open Courseware, complete with all class materials, for free on their sites? Why wasn’t anyone complaining or protesting MIT OpenCourseware, Academic Earth, or Open Yale? They’ve been around for years without much mention.
2. Why does everyone think a MOOC is the same thing as an online class??
3. Why does everyone think that open, free, online courses are something new?
